Lawnmower stalls when engage blade?
I have Craftsman Honda engine self-propelled lawn mower. Starts fine but engine stalls when I engage blade. If I engage blade and hold it there, then start the engine it works fine (engine runs and blade moves).

1st thing to do is look in the owners manual; 2nd is to look at the manufacturer's website; 3rd is to contact the mfgr
- Replace lawnmower air filter? I have a troy-bilt lawnmower with Honda engine purchased from Lowes a couple years ago. The air filter has become dirty and I'd like to replace it. But I'm not sure what filter I need to buy

I want to swap the motor to make a good mower. Yes I have good mechanical ability but I don't like to take apart something without doing some research if I've never done it before.
