125cc motorbike or a car?

I'm very stuck on what to do get a 125cc or a car, I will most likely be getting a honda nsr 125 if I get a bike or a vw polo if I get a car, i would enjoy having a bike through the summer but it would be bad in the winter and I keep changing my mind, I would just like some personal experience and opinions of either and help me decide, thanks

It depends on the weather i think.
to start with, if you crash on a motorcyle unless some sort of miracle happens your gonna die. With the car you will usually be alright
if your winters are bad, like andy suggested see if you can get both. If not, use your judgement and get the car. Rain is another issue and a car, especially a fwd one like the vw golf (or awd) will be very good in the rain

You correctly realize that motorcycles aren't much fun in winter, so how long and how bad are winters where you live? If there's going to be any snow and ice, then forget the bike.

On the other hand, would your car get stuck in traffic that a bike could bypass? In which case, could you afford a cheaper, older car for winter AND a bike for spring, summer and autumn?
