2008 Honda CBR600RR sputtering, stalling and dying?

I have a 2008 CBR600RR with low mileage on it. The other day I hopped on and started riding and after a minute of riding, my bike started losing power, sputtering, stalling and shutting off. I would give it gas, but it wouldn t accelerate. The electric components stayed on, but the engine died. I cranked it back up, revved it up and starting riding again, after a few moments, the same thing happened. Started it, revved it, and rode and had the same result. It has fresh gas, fresh oil, low mileage and has been taken care of. Any thoughts on what could be wrong? Any similar experiences?

HI so like most modern things such as bikes and cars it needs regular servicing if this is not carried out the result is what you currently have. So being a honda motorcycle it needs a proper honda motorcycle service.

Sounds like a fuel starvation problem so I would start by looking at cleaning that all out.

Does it have a fuel filter? Clean or replace

Could be various issues such as bad coil/module or weak battery/charging system, clogged filter or injectors, fuel pressure issues, etc. Test the battery voltage at idle, low revs and see if it's a good charge rate. Check to see if you get spark while cranking after it dies… If no spark, then it could be bad ignition coil/module. Some items like coils or modules may work find when cold but fail as they heat up due to high internal resistance which can cause a lack of power or sputtering/stalling. Check the engine shutoff relay… That may be sticky or weak and shutoff power at times. Test for proper fuel pressure/change filter… Run some Techron in the fuel tank to clean injectors.
