Bikes for petite beginners?

I'm 18 and am looking to get a motorcycle. I'm like 7 and a half stone and I'm only 5'1, I've been looking for a while and I know it's best to start out with a 125cc I've been looking at the Honda CBR. Quite recommended for beginners and I've also looked at Kawasaki Ninja 250 due to the weight of it. I know you can lower seats but I was just wondering if there's any others I should look at. I'm planning on learning before I make any big decision and I will start out on most probably the Honda which is Learner Legal. I'll also be going for a bike safety course so that's not something to be worrie

  • Why Honda uses thin tyres on their bikes? I'm a big fan of Honda(bikes or cars). But I always wondered why do they use tyres with less width… At least the REAR tyres should have been wider. They use big tyres on high end bikes such as CBR models and VFRs etc. But on normal bikes such as unicorn, shine, stunner, they put very thin tyres.thinner than those found on other manufactures bikes… Why do they do this.to increase fuel efficiency?
  • Sport bike maintenance for beginners? I have a 2004 honda cbr 600 f4i and I want to be able to keep it running and not have to worry. What are some things I need to know for keeping the bike well maintained? By that I mean when should I check oil, tire pressure, etc. And when do I need to change the chain and all that kinda stuff. And is there just any general tips I could use?

  • My motor bikes lights won't turn on and engine is dying after 5000rpm? Hey i've recently replaced my odometer due to old on being faulty. Just a few days ago, all of a sudden my bikes lights won't turn on and the engine starts dying after 5000rpm. Would anyome know what's wrong P.s I own a honda cbr250rr
