Can a 250cc sport/street bike go smoothly at 45 mph?

Something like Kawasaki Ninja 250r, I own a classic honda 150cc, but it vibrates a lot when I go over 40 mph. So I really love kawasaki ninja 250r, but is it smooth? I don't know, I have never ridden sport bikes before. Are they fast? Or go really smooth?

A Ninja 250 is fast compared to other 250 cc motorcycles and yes, it will comfortably cruise at 45 MPH assuming there's nothing wrong with it.

Hi so back in the 1960's most of the japanese motorcycles would average 60 mph all day long.

Yes

  • My 1999 manual honda prelude does not shift into 5th gear or reverse smoothly? My gears are smooth from 1-4 but then takes a lot of effort to go to 5th or reverse. Also when you get out of 5th or reverse it doesn't go straight into neutral like a normal manual car. They still work but it is very annoying that i have to push it into the gears and pull them out. What could the issue be? Transmission? Shift box? I plan on changing to a short throw shifter in the future.
  • Which bike would be a good first sport bike. Looking at CBR1000/600's and also the yamaha R1/R6? I don't know much about the differences, I know some people are all for Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda, of Kawasaki. Seems that whatever bike someone has, they say its the best. I wish I could just ride all of them and see for myself. Tampa, FL Sam
  • Is it a good idea to get a crotch rocket as a beginner street bike? I really like the Honda CBR 600's. I've actaullu never ridden a crotch rocket. I'm 5'6 exact and 135 pounds. Would this bike be too big? I ride motocross on an RM 125 Suzuki. It's pretty tall. Anyways, am I crazy to want a crotch rocket as a beginner rider? What bike would you guys recommend? Besides a Ninja 250 because I heard you outgrow them and they don't provide much speed/power.
