Can changing rear shocks of my bike will increase the comfort?

I have a Honda CG125 Titan (5 gear) model bike, i love everything about it except for the comfort. I bought it second hand and increased the cushion of the seat. It feels slightly better now. I'm thinking of changing its rear shocks in to GAS Charged or better shocks from some indian motorcycle brand. Will this help to increase the comfort or it will do a little difference? Can someone experienced in this help me? Thanks am million!

Added (1). I did change the shocks in to NITRO CHARGED GAS SHOCKS

"CHANGING OIL FILLED SHOCKED IN TO GAS SHOCKS ON A MOTORCYCLE DO MAKE A DRASTIC BIG DIFFERENCE"

It feels like brand new again. No more back pains or bad pot hole shocks. I don't have to build new roads or buy a new car also! I wrote down the full story in the below link for those who are interested to read in the future

Bajaj Pulsar 135 shocks used.

It might increase the comfort, but then again, it might not.

Hi so the issues are not the motorcycle but the state of the roads.

If it does it will only do so by making the rear too soft and that could be potentially very dangerous. Gas charged does not equal comfort or softer - they could be harder even.

There would be little difference. Any shock absorber small enough to fit properly on your little 125cc bike won't have much effect at softening bumps. Perhaps you should find a smoother road to ride on.

It may increase your comfort level… But that may come at the cost of
decreasing your turning response level.

Ever notice how on a track sport bike the seat resembles a brick, the pegs and shift levers are bare metal and the hand grips are minimal… That's a radical trade off for comfort giving maximum control and road feed back.

On a 125… Choose a better road surface!

Shocks do go off with age, if they have been hammered for a few thousand miles they will get tired, the oil will break down so it will not damp as well as it could. They can be rebuilt and refreshed.

Or you look at fitting progressive springs which use the tightness of the coil to alter how the spring works at full deflection and mid-deflection.

Both will be cheaper than new shocks

Motorcycles are not really built for comfort. And small bikes are worse. You could look at different seats. But I doubt different seats, or shocks will make much difference. You want comfort, get a car.

I have a Honda 250 Rebel. After about an hour of riding, I like to stop & take a break.

Rear shock/spring units for small bikes likely the low buck supplier. Look at progressive springs and slightly wider units from a 250 to 500 of same length. Rear tire size and pressure may help- one size larger tire when needed for wear and tire pressure at low end of recommended pressure. What size mounting bushing? Small plastic bushing can on some be replaced with larger rubber bushing when shock/spring units replaced.

It could go either way. Unfortunately, you won't know until you've bought new shocks and fitted them. However, Honda shocks WILL be better than anything made in India - sorry, but that's the cold hard truth.
