Getting a motorcycle and a motorcycle license?

I'm 15 years old. I love motorcycles. I know everything about bikes and shifting and stuff. I do have experience but i have only riden a Honda CG125. Nothing with more power.

I'm going to turn 16 next summer and i want to purchase a Kawasaki ninja 300. I want to know how i'm going to buy it and how i'm gonna get the license. I live in New York City by the way. Thanks!

Added (1). i can get a motorcycle learners permit at age 16 in NY so yeah

First of all you get a bike and learn the bike then you become a license because it's legal.

I don't think it's legal to get a motorcycle license until you are 21.

Look on the NY DMV website.

You need to get the license first because you can't even get insurance without it ( even then you can't buy the bike at 16, it has to be put in your parents name since you can't sign a purchase contract or get registration as a minor ) , take an msf ridercourse and they'll provide the bike and the training right thru getting the license and if you take this course the insurance rate will be lower than it would if you didn't, that lower insurance rate more than covers the cost of the course over a few years so it is worth taking the course
