What are some sports bike I should look into?

I'm trying find my favorite two sports bikes.

So far I like the:
Honda cbr1000rr fireblade
MTT turbine superbike

I just love the way the engines on these two bikes sound!

Other bikes that have sparked my interest:
Suzuki hayabusa ( I do like the looks of haya, but it doesn't look too impressive after some videos I've watched)
BMW hp4
BMW s1000r

I also have a soft spot for certain exotic things… So I ended up thinking of Ducati, but I don't know which Ducati model would have a similar sounding engine to the first two bikes I mentioned or would go faster.

I'm mainly going sheer speed, jet-like engine sound and sexiness also.

Try a harley sprtster 1000.sounds cool and you can act cool.

You are a fantasist and a dreamer, which is fine, many people dreamed what posters to stick on our wall and played top trumps when we were small.

The fact that you think a Fireblade and a helicopter turbine sound similar is an indictment on the sound quality of YouTube.

Most anyone that KNOWS HOW to ride wouldn't need to ask this question and anyone that does ask shouldn't be riding any of the bikes mentioned, none of them are beginner bikes.

Have you ridden any of those bikes? I mean, they all drive very differently.

Not to mention, agreeing to Chris, if you are really asking you probably haven't ridden those bikes, and probably shouldn't ride them either as you are either getting it as a first bike or upgrading from a 250.

If I had the money, I would probably be on a Ducati or BMW. If for nothing else, just for the exotic feel because not as many people in my area ride them. Buddy of mine rides a Ducati Monster Evo 1100 which is a friggin beast, but a little on the torquey side. (aka wheelie machine)

Hai friends you know there are number of sports bikes like as honda CBR 150 and 1000.

Ducatis have v-twin engines and as such don't have a sound similar to an inline four like the CBR1000RR. Try a Kawasaki ZX10-R, Suzuki GSXR1000, Yamaha R1 (however does sound a touch different due to its crossplane crankshaft). But if you want exotic, try a Ducati Desmosedici

  • What are some good and reliable sports cars by these brands? I'm looking to buy a sporty type car from one of the more reliable brands. From what I've heard, Toyota, Honda, Acura, and Hyundai are pretty solid. By good and reliable i mean which cars hold their value the longest, which cars are the least expensive to fix if something did go wrong, etc. I'm just looking for a basic list of some good cars that cost less than 20,000. Obviously not looking for brand new cars
  • Would a 125cc 4 stroke scooter be able to keep up with a 125cc sports bike? I'm thinking of getting a Sym Jet 4 125cc, and my friend rides a Honda CBR 125, we re riding about 3 hours down to the Bulldog Bash, would my scooter be powerful enough to keep up with him? And cruise comfortably at about 60mph? Long and short. How much of an advantage/disadvantage are gears when it comes to acceleration and speed.
  • What would be the kind of sports bike apt for a beginner to start-off? I'm new to riding bikes, and I've ridden cruise bikes( I'd like to start-off my sports-bike riding. For now, my options for a beginner's sports bike are a Kawasaki Ninja 300, a Honda CBR250RR and a 600RR. I could afford a budget around 6,000 USD to 7,000 USD. What, according to your opinion and experience, would be a good starter sports bike for a beginner? And what kind of technical know-how and riding skills should I be needing to work on, in order to use one properly?
  • Recommend sports bike for 5 foot 3 inch tall person? I will be 16 years of age soon, and currently race with a crf100 (although it is much too small at this point haha) and out and about I drive a crf230l with no trouble. I'm 5'3" and weigh 135lbs. I'm looking into getting a sports bike, and am considering a ninja 300, or a honda cb500f. The ninja 300 seems ideal, but I worry it is too small, and won't do much more than 130kmph. What would you recommend?
