Anything Honda make is better than anything HD make. I know it won't be a popular answer but it's the truth.

Motorcycle? Those are all just luggage with a motor.

Dyna wide glide

When Hondas were out people throw them away, Harleys live forever.

I'd go with the Road King myself. Good versatile bike, lots of aftermarket support and my riding habits have been leaning to more road trips and fewer poker runs and bar hopping.

Plus, if you want a stereo the Road King already has the fairing and dash.

I would say it depend on what you want to use it for. The two Harleys are really HEAVY. They are optimized for long distances on the Interstate. The Road King is more of a tourer, the Softail is more an all-around bike. Neither is a lot of fun in city traffic or on a narrow, twisty mountain road.

The Honda is maybe 100 lbs lighter and proportionately more maneuverable (though still a big, heavy bike). It has some 'plastic chrome'--which supposedly saves both money and weight, but it deteriorates over time and looks disgusting. It's probably a little smoother, though cruiser riders WANT that characteristic V-twin imbalance. And it's cheaper, both to buy and maintain, by about half, I would say.

The Honda is actually a nice bike. The softail is a poser bike no thanks. The road king is nicest of all three. It will still be running when that Honda becomes recycled beer cans. The Honda is a very good machine however it won't last as long and parts arent going to be available to support it after 5 years. And no dealership will work on it after 5 years.
