What is faster a 2001 Yamaha yzf r6 or a 2001 Honda cbr 600 f4i?
The R6 was generally faster, but not by much. The CBR was know for being a bit more comfortable.
Really, though, their power was so close that it really was the rider that made the most difference.
R6 has really bad low power but is better at high rpms making it better on the track, f4i is better on the street and the fact the power is more well rounded it's also really really durable. Id go for the f4i but if you really want the answers just look up the 0-60 times or torque they'll be almost identical
They are about the same, a good rider could prove one or the other wrong.
The one with a better rider. And they would only find the difference at highly illegal speeds.
I think the R6 would have the better top end, more up high power. However, the CBR would be better for lower down and mid-range power as that's how it's generally designed to be.
To be honest, I doubt there's alot in it. Read online that the CBR's recorded top speed is around 155mph (Actual speed), and the R6 is 160mph or so… Both stock.
- Which bike would be a good first sport bike. Looking at CBR1000/600's and also the yamaha R1/R6? I don't know much about the differences, I know some people are all for Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda, of Kawasaki. Seems that whatever bike someone has, they say its the best. I wish I could just ride all of them and see for myself. Tampa, FL Sam
- What size of bolts do I use to hold the battery on my 1998 honda cbr 600? - 1 I lost the bolts that connect my battery on my 1998 honda cbr and I don't remember what size they are
- I don't know what's wrong with my Honda cbr f4i 02 I have a f4i 02. Something is draining my battery, I've been through 4 batteries in 2 weeks; I even replaced the stator and recitifier but my battery is only running 8.6 volts while at 3krpm. When I try to start the bike it just makes this loud clicking noise from the battery being low. I can put a new battery in and about a day later it will die… Someone please help. This is becoming such a headache
- How much does the engine itself of each of these bikes weigh? Yamaha YZF R6 Suzuki GSX 600 Honda CBR600RR? They are all ~600cc. Kgs would be preferable but its easy enough to convert the weights. I can't find their engine weights anywhere.
