What is good mileage on a used Honda Rebel?

My car recently broke down and I'm looking into getting a Rebel, but when I'm looking them up, I don't know what is good and what is bad. For example is 3,000 miles on a 2006 good or bad? Can anyone give me some tips on what to look for please?

Added (1). I'm not looking at a bike with 3,000 miles on it, I just threw that number out there as an example, which is what the question says. That number came off the top of my head, it could have easily been 110,000 or 16,000. I just want basic tips, not tips on 3,000 miles.

3000 is low my wife last year bought an 06 rebel that was in great condition all around and had brand new tires… And it had 9000 miles on it

3000 miles is nearly new. Look at the total mileage and the number of years. Most people put 2000-5000 miles a year on a bike. But a lot of bikes get parked in garages and sit for years on end. You'd worry about one with too few miles on it!

Used Rebels go for a lot of money because they're just so pretty! Used ones are very desirable among beginners and people who don't need to go on the highway.

There are many good website with tips about what to look at on a used bike. Google 'buying a used motorcycle' and you'll see them. Basically you're looking for clues as to how well the bike has been cared for.

That's really low, I out 3000 miles or more on my bikes every summer and at 3000 miles and 8 years old that's only a few hundred miles per year ( I put 72000 miles on my last bike in 9 years and it was still in great condition, always garage stored and maintained regularly )
it could still be on the original tires with only 3000 miles ( change them anyway, they'd be dried and cracked after 8 years and could blow out any second ) , I used to go through a set every 2 years or less

as long as he has service records and it hasn't been crashed an 06 rebel with 300 miles is a good buy if the price is right

It's not bad but if you have take care of car then please reduced the miles.
