What Is The Highest Speed You Have Safely Achieved On A Motorcycle?

You don't have to say where it was, but what is the highest speed you have ever achieved on a motorcycle and what Motorcycle was it, my top was 120 mph on a Honda 300 ( I was a passenger )…

I hit 130 regularly on my old 650 on the highway if it was clear, i'm sure my ninja1000 could do that effortlessly but its a cop magnet. They get all excited even when i'm cruising the speed limit lol.

You said safest speed. 120 isn't safe. Especially for public roads. The fastest I've gotten safely, was 55mph

180 mph while racing my buddy on an empty freeway late at night, didn't even notice I was going that fast until I looked at my speedo. Pretty irresponsible you can say but hella fun

Almost 30

I've got a 78 gs750 with aftermarket adjustable shocks and at just 80mph i'm bouncing so much on our shot-out public roads that I can't see 10 ft in front of me… How the heck do you guys maintain 100+?

Around 105mph on a VFR750 while riding on a freeway. Pretty average but then again, I'm not a speed demon. I ride for fun, not for MPH's and 0-60's…

165 and I won't say it was particularly safe. It was on an old stove of a Honda called a CBX, one of the early 6 cylinders

Something like this

None of my choppers have a speedo, so I have no clue.

137 in a controlled 1/4 mile run. Did I feel endangered? Not! No cattle, no children, no drunken drivers, no distracted motorists with cell phones, no cattle trucks spilling slick cow manure on the corners, etc… A Lot SAFER than legal limits on Public Roads!

There's no "Safely Achieved" "Highest Speed" in a public setting.

Track speed? Felt pretty safe at 165 at the right space and time.

On the street? There are a few stretches (beach roads, early morning) that on my street bike I hit 145, but not every often, just enough to fill the 'void' between races and at 64 years of age I think my racing days are close to ending.

A 300cc Honda wouldn't have enough HP to push the wind out of the way @ 120mph.

110 Goldwing in Death Valley. Long straight road without a person in sight in the middle of a desert.

I've done the ton.
On my old KZ 650.

110 indicated, on the Superglide in the pic.
Speedo was off, as they all are… Corrected now with the chain drive conversion.
Actual was approx 102.

My unfortunate cruiser lacking top end 93mph. Considered speeding but someone on a sport bike behind me decided that was too slow and passed me like no tomorrow, maybe 130 same lane as me, **** my pants a little but other then that completely safe
