Why do Ducati not just copy Honda or Yamaha and make a fast bike in Motogp?

Iv got a lot to say on this as it annoys me. I was going to ask why is Cal Crutchlow performing so badly this season but the answers obvious. Porsche 911 have always stuck to the idea of putting the engine right at the back of the car even though the cars would oversteer out of control and spin off the road and crash but now they have made the idea work but Ducati have not made it work. Secondly any progress Ducati make, Yamaha and Honda make progress at the same time so what's the point. Thirdly why don't Ducati give up instead of wasting riders time and injuring them, is it a publicity stunt (Nicky Hayden American public, Cal Crutchlow British public) or what are Ducati's plans?

Haha!

Don't you think they are not already trying to make a fast bike?

Ducati Corse has 37 people working on their MotoGP project. HRC in Japan has nearly 800 staff. Who do you think is going to produce the better bike?

Gigi will find a way to improve the GP14 & GP15. With Audi's money them, they will get there.

As for "making it work"… Ducati have tried / still trying every form of fix available. You seem to think they are just out there playing games. They are there to win. Thats everything to them.

As for a publicity stunts… I'm sure calling riders who have won at AMA, BSB, WSB, WSS level a stunt.

Ducati's plans are to keep racing. Keep fighting to improve.

Cal will be better next year even if the bike is the same. Look at the improvement he made with Tech3. Most riders perform poorly in their first year at a new team.

Don't forget that Ducati aren't running in the same class as the works Yamaha's and Honda's either. That will be good for them in the longer term with the way the rules are going though.

It's a shame that Cal is a year out on his contract compared to the other top riders as the top rides are sewn up when he becomes available.
