Yamaha WR250 or Honda CRF250?
I'm looking for a dirt bike. Not a brand new one, somewhere around 2008-2010 maybe. Which is better, Yamaha WR250f or a Honda CRF250x?
The Honda has a little smoother power band than the Yamaha. The Honda has a very small horsepower advantage, but the way the Honda delivers the power, makes easier to ride fast. Honda also produces slightly more torque by about 2ft lbs.
Honda: 26.63HP / 15.9 ft lbs
Yamaha: 26.43 HP / 13.86 ft lbs.
If you are going to riding on a lot of open spaces where you will be running flat out, the Yamaha is probably the better choice.
If you are going to be riding on trails or tracks with turns and tight spots, the Honda would be the better choice.
Another thing to consider is a dealership. If the Honda dealership is right in town, 5 minutes away and the Yamaha dealership is on the other side of town, 20 minutes away, go with the closer dealership.

- Yamaha and Honda duel sport modles? I've been looking at buying a duel sport motorcycles for the concept of the bikes. I really like the newer crf250l and wx250r, but they were introduced in 2013 and I'm against buying new vehicles. I was hoping you guys that have had duel sports could list the Honda and Yamaha models from 2000-2010 so i could research them. Or you could possibly talk me into buying one of the newer crf250l or wx250r
- Will honda and yamaha ever make a motorcycle to compete with the Hayabusa and ZX-14R? The most powerful Yamaha/Honda motorcycles are the Yamaha R1 and the Cbr-1000rr. Will they ever make a bike 1300 - 1400 cc bike to compete with the Suzuki Hayabusa (1300cc) or the Zx14 (1400cc)?

- What bike should i get a 2004 honda cr125 or 07 yamaha yz125? I have a 2011 rmz250 and want another bike so i don't load up the 250 with hours. I have the chance to buy a mint 04 cr125 with a full pro circuit for 2200$. Or i can get the yz125 07 or 3000$. Its all modded out though. Front and rear RG3 suspension, motor built up by PR2, brand new tires, bars grips plastics and graphics, fresh rebuild, and a full FMF exhaust. The guy also has all stock parts that he switched out and receipts for all the work done. Both bikes have paperwork and are mint.
