2000 rear brakes on odyssey van knock when braking?
I recently changed the rear drum brakes with new shoes and drums on my 2000 Honda Odyssey Van and now they knock when I apply the brakes. The noise matches the rotational speed of the tires as if something is on the tires.
The drums may not be seated correctly.
- When did the Honda Odyssey model get a third seat in the mid and rear rows? I think it was 2011 but I'm not sure. I'm going to goto a junk yard, remove the three seat rows and install them in my 1993 Honda Wagon and my 1995 Honda Odyssey. http://www.newcars.com/honda/odyssey/2011 http://www.autotrader.com/research/article/car-reviews/197705/2013-honda-odyssey-new-car-review.jsp NEW PLAN: Buy middle seat for 2nd row and additional seatbelt for third row.
- I just pulled into the parking lot at work and when I got off my van I noticed I had more space to back up so I tried to turn on my van and? It was dead. I checked the ports and everything looked good. The battery is new. What can it be? I have a 2006 Honda Odyssey EXL
- Honda Civic 2001 Rear Grinding Noise on Brakes? Whenever I'm stopped and i pump the brake I hear a grinding noise from the rear. Sometimes this also happens when I'm just starting to accelerate. It also seems to apply to the emergency brake. As I take it off I hear the same noise, and even when the car is raised (turned off with emergency brake on) and i'm jacking it up itll make this same noise
- Car is loud when I accelerate, small single click noise when accelerating/braking. Safe to drive? It's a 2003 Honda Accord V6 with 215k miles. The past two days it's been loud when accelerating but it can still accelerate fine (but I haven't driven over 45 mph with it like this). Also I noticed a small single click noise whenever I accelerate or when I brake. Not due for an oil change for another 500+ miles. I planned on driving it 275 miles on the highway at 70-80 mph tomorrow and another 275 back on Sunday. Nothing to worry about or is it best to not drive that much on it?
