What a points of condencers is on a honda rebel 250 motor cycle i can't under stand what it is telling me?
Does any one know what a points of condencers is on a honda rebel 250 motor cycle i can't under stand what it is telling me? - 1
Ignition breaker points and condenser. They are standard tune-up parts.
On older motorcycles the points and condenser were mounted on the side of the motor in line with the crankshaft under a side cover. The crankshaft would have a "lobe" on it that would open and close the points to trigger the coil to fire the spark plugs.
Why don't you just do a search asking how an ignition system with points and condensers works?
- My wife's but is too big for the backseat of of my Honda Rebel 250? How to make a bigger backseat? My wife finds the backseat of my 2006 Rebel uncomfortably small. I've searched the internet to see if they make a larger option, but I haven't found anything. Is there a larger backseat I can buy? I'm considering building my own. I have foam and vinyl, but I need to think of a material to make a sturdy, seat-shaped frame piece that I could attach the vinyl to. Any ideas?
- What is the squeaky noise on my 2009 honda rebel CMX 250 when I start the first time (it then goes away). What could this be? I have a Honda Rebel CMX 250 and it makes a weird horn / belt slipping like noice only in the morning when the first try to start the engine. What could this be?
- Will my Honda Rebel 250 handle an hour on the highway at 60/65mph? I just had my truck tires stabbed by one of the wild 10 year old kids that roam my neighborhood. Now I need to ride my motorcycle to work. I'm not a big fan of highway riding. It's scary and I don't want to die. Anyway, the question is - will my little Honda Rebel 250 handle going 65 for an hour continuously? I know it's not meant for high speeds and is more of a little put putter.
- Which is a better motor cycle brand, honda or harley? I want to buy a motorcycle, and I don't know which brand I want. I want a cruiser, not a crotch rocket. Any opinions on which brand has a better bike?
