I just purchase a new car but turns out that i purchase like 6000 extra warranty on i'm not sure what exactly did they sold me but the price of the car is 21847.00 and with taxes it adds up to 23000 PLUS BUT i got my statement turns out that i owe 29800.00 now this is like 2 months ago that i bought the car any advice on how to remove whatever extra warranty they sold me they did not even gave me any paper work i'm not even sure what it is for because i was really upset when we were buying the car because i did not want it but my husband did thats the reason why we got it if you have any info can you please let me know. This is a honda new car
You have to be a troll. Nobody is dumb enough to pay $6,000 for an extended warranty for a $22,000 car.
Threaten the salesman for scamming you and that you'll get an attorney and sue the owner of the business if he doesn't remove that POS extended warranty from the car deal. You don't need extended warranty on a new vehicle! Take a big friend with you to get the point across.
Chances are they're showing you the total amount that you'll pay if you make every payment. This includes all interest that accrues over the life of the loan. Call your bank and ask what your principal amount financed is. This would be what you'd have to pay to pay it off in full today. It should be be a few thousand less.
Extended warrranty on a new $22000 car is nowhere close to $6000
- What happens if you don't get approved for a car loan after your purchase? I have bought a car two weeks ago and at the time we applied for 20k $ car loan, we deposited 8k and I was planning to deposit another 4k next week. Now we have received the letter( third party) that we're not approved for the car loan. Does that mean I have to return the car? If so why the Honda company (where we bought the car) didn't tell us anything before we receive the letter? What options do I have?
- Would a Lifetime Warranty influence your car buying decision? I'm debating between a 2017 Honda Pilot and 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. Pilot costs $28K but comes with a Lifetime Powertrain Warranty (several Honda dealers offer this) while Santa Fe costs $25K but just 10year/100k miles warranty. So do you think its worth paying $3k more for a Pilot especially since it comes with a Lifetime Warranty? I mean the warranty probably is worth $3k alone?
- Do you have to sell your motorcycle if you plan to move from Colorado to New York? I have a Honda CB500F motorcycle that I love but it is too far to drive. If I decide take it with me, I have to drive twice since I have a car too. If you were me, would you sell the motorcycle before you leave or drive twice?
- If your car was starting to have a lot of mechanical issues (see details), would you go for repairs or buy a new or good used car? My 2002 Honda Civic is suddenly having a lot of problems - SRS dash light always on, AC doesn't work, squeaking and thumping underneath on front passenger's side and brake pedal, and passenger side mirror is loose.
