Renting car, moving away?
I'm renting a car in South Carolina from Stokes Honda, but I'm moving to LA in December. How do I get it registered to California?
Do you mean you are leasing a Honda in SC? If so, you will need to check with the Honda dealership about the possibility of retaining the lease if changing residency to California. It will all come down to the specifics of your lease agreement. If they will allow you to do so you will have to smog, insurance and register the leased vehicle within 20 days of establishing your residence.
You should talk to the dealer you're "renting" the car from. THEY may not agree to let you take it to California.

It's not your car, they are unlikely to let you take it out of state

If you mean leased, then you will have to re-register in Ca. When/if you establish residency in Ca.
