Should I just get my daughter a Honda?

She keeps telling me she wants a Chevy Malibu but those are not as reliable

Should you?

The honda is a piece of junk; buy American

You probably shouldn't get her a car. Giving a son or daughter a car makes it hard for them to transition to having to handle expenses on their own.

GM is about as reliable as Honda these days; GM has come up and Honda has come down in the last two decades.

No. Just buy her a scooter

Chevy Malibu troll strikes again.

Honda have a very high reliability score here in the UK. However she should be making an effort to buy her own car. Why don't you offer to pay half when she has worked and saved a reasonable sum?

Chevy Malibu's are fine American made vehicles and if she gets the oil and filter changed every 3,000 miles that car will get over 250,000 miles of usage.
Buy the Malibu!
