What kind of fuel does a honda generator use?
Hi, this may be a stupid question but i'm a city slicker planning on campong and i want to buy a honda generator, What kind of fuel does it use? Where do i get it?
As for looks, I like a guy who is very tall! Kind of rugged, stubble, messy hair. Athletic build, dresses well but not too done up! Kind of surfer boy ish - that's hot.
But I'm immediately attracted to a guy who is hilarious - because it's so sexy! It depends on the generator - Honda make many types.
Most use petrol ('gasoline' for Yanks) or diesel.
You buy it from the same place you'd normally buy fuel - a service station. It will say in the manual, or just call a dealer and ask ( plus get a starting price to buy one ) Kind of depends on the actual generator you are buying. MOST generators will run on regular gasoline. Your owner's manual will tell you the proper type…
Other types of fuels generators can run on: 2:1 stroke engine requires a mixture of oil and gas. Diesel Gasoline, Propane, Natural gas.

- Why does a 4-prong plug melt in my Honda generator? It happened twice already. I use this EP6500CSX generator as a backup, when the solar panels don't get enough light, and the turbine doesn't get enough water at the river. Is it bcuz the inverter spews some power back into the generator?
- Does the fuel tank size have any impact on fuel economy between vehicles? For example the new Honda Accords have a 56 Litre tank while the CRV has a 53 L and the Rogue a 55 L. Now the 2 latters are compact crossovers and are arguably bigger in size than the Accord, so would that mean they are using up more gas? Would that mean its better to buy the Accord if we were going based on just gas mileage?
- What kind of brake fluid does a 2 door honda civic dx use? My car just sprung a brake fluid leak. I parked it far away from my house so I can't check myself.
- How many amps does a fuel pump for a 95 honda civic use? I blew 2 fuel pumps already because I wired them to the a hard line in the battery. Then I installed an in line fuse, but it was a 20 amp so the fuel pump still blew. My guy said a fuel pump uses about 6 amps so I need a 7.5 amp fuse. I'm wondering if I could use a 5 amp fuse because it's a very small engine and fuel pump. Does anyone know what the stock amp draw should be?
