What tires will give me an improvement over the ones I have now(picture shown)?
I have a 2003 Honda Element awd and I want to improve the handling/stability at higher highway speeds through curves and corners. However, they have to be all season tires.
My car can do 85-90 mph through most highway curves. I want good safe/grippy tires that will help me take that at 95-100 mph. What tires would be good without compromising all season tires?
Michelin Pilot Super Sport. But you're driving an ancient brick, Mark. There's no reason for you to be driving 100 miles per hour around highway curves. You live in Palisades Park, NJ and get a lot of snow.
If you want to drive like a maniac, buy a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT with a 6.2 liter V8 and 400 horsepower. Then move to someplace like Albuquerque where it doesn't rain or snow that often.
Will MICHELIN supersports give me all weather handling and safety?
I wouldn't want to risk my neck at any speed over 50mph in a sixteen year old car and you are taking a big risk yourself.
Michelin Pilot® Sport A/S 3+, their ultimate Ultra High Performance All-Season tire. Rated for 45K miles.
More performance, less miles. More miles, less performance. Take your choice.
Michelin. Both my cars have Michelin.
I know you want to but you are driving a car with a high center of gravity so you will tip over and roll it into a ditch. Some things you can't do with some cars. You need a Ferrari, or Lambo, or Maserati FIRST. Or stop expecting the car to do something it can't DO.
- You say what does the on and off switch do in the picture of the 2008 Honda CBR600RR super sport motorcycle as shown in the pic? Ture I attached! This Honda CBR600RR supersport motorcycle operates in the United States of America, and was made in Japan.
- How much of an improvement will these polyurethane control arms bushings give me? My car is a 2003 Honda Element awd. How much a of a handling improvement will it give me through curves percentage wise? Say I can take a curve at 80 mph, how much faster could I go through that same curve with these bushings (front and rear)?
- How much improvement will polyurethane bushings give me? I have a 2003 Honda Element awd and I've had all 4 sway bar links along with 2 front and rear sway bar bushings replaced. So far the car feels like it handles new. However, I've been looking into polyurethane bushings as I want to increase my cars ability to take corners and feel more stable. My question is if I can take a curve at 80 mph, how much faster(in mph) would I be able to take that same curve if I install polyurethane bushings on the control arms and sway bars?
- When should I do an oil change, rotate tires, and balance tires? I purchased a brand new 2013 Honda Civic LX Sedan in just this past february. I'm currently at 7,300 miles. I scheduled an oil change, tire rotation, and tire balance for this upcoming Saturday. Is that too much for a brand new car? I wasn't really sure.
