Which car would be better for a college student?
My parents are offering to buy me a new car for college and I can't decide between two: Mercedes CLA 180 or the Range Rover Sport. There's a big price different between the two and the designs are completely different and yet I can't make up my mind. Which one would you buy if you were a female college student?
Btw I don't have much experience driving. I only got my license last year and drove my parents car until now.
Added (1). As shallow as it may sound but none of the people at the college I'm going to drive a Honda. The majority had BMW, Audi and Mercedes cars.
I'd buy a Honda and save the rest of the money.
Neither. The CLA has proven to have below average reliability, and the Land Rover is so bad that it ends up at the bottom of most reliability surveys.
Get a nice reliable Toyota, Honda, or Hyundai. Or if you want an upscale car, Lexus and Acura are very reliable.
