Convertibles don't sell that well anymore. Honda is doing quite well with their more sedate, family-oriented cars.
Never heard of the S2000, did you.
Honda makes vehicles that sell.
Convertibles are low volume vehicles. Not much money to be made on them. Honda, like all other corporations exist to make money.
They tried a few years ago, and they didn't sell many. Nobody wanted them.
Convertibles are like manual transmission cars, on their way out. It's more of a high-end, vanity option, and people buy Hondas to save money.
The did. I think it was called the S2000. I also think they make one that they do not export to the USA.
They did. But not a Civic. But Honda was a New company at the time so was not known & the sports car was kind of ugly. So not many sold so they stopped making it.

- Will honda and yamaha ever make a motorcycle to compete with the Hayabusa and ZX-14R? The most powerful Yamaha/Honda motorcycles are the Yamaha R1 and the Cbr-1000rr. Will they ever make a bike 1300 - 1400 cc bike to compete with the Suzuki Hayabusa (1300cc) or the Zx14 (1400cc)?
- Why has my Honda VTX 1300 Motorcycle been overheating ever since I laid it down? I changed the coolant, cleaned the air filter and got a new thermostat but still over heats if I'm sitting at every red light. Will start up after it cools down but always over heats when I idle too long. Any ideas?
