1974 celica gt vs 1990 mustang 5.0?
Having a thought time to choose which car I want to purchase. The celica is in good condition besides it needing a timing chain but they want to trade for my daily driver older Honda. It still runs and looks great. The mustang looks like it needs work all around, it's an auto, and needs a fuel pump and more for it to run right. For 1200. The mustang is a blind buy because I never heard it run for over 2 secs. I'm trying to figure out should I trade my car for the celica or just outright buy the mustang. What you would do value wise, mechanic wise and uniqueness wise.
I wouldn't buy either one… Both money pits. Keep what yaw got at least it runs
Don't buy either of these unless you are using it as a beater/project car. I would go for the Fox body mustang because mechanical parts are dirt cheap and easy to find. It better be a rust free example. Good luck finding parts for the a first generation Celica.
- D16y8, d15 faster than my 92 Celica 2.2 5sfe? My brothers have Hondas and is faster than my 92 Celica 5sfe engine. They have a D15 and a D16y8. Why? Is this rite or is there something wrong with my 5sfe?
- 2015 Mustang V6 or 2013 Mustang GT? All spoiled rich kid comments aside, I have been saving money for 2 years and it is time for me to get a new car. Just taking a public survey, but should I get a 2015 Mustang V6, or a 2013 Mustang GT? Both cars are right in my price range. I'm driving a honda civic now so either car will be a dramatic increase power for me. The 2015 styling is awesome, but the 2013 still looks good and i would have the intense power of a V8! I need help deciding!
- Which car would you buy? 94 Celica or 99 Accord? Okay, these cars are both in pretty much equal (great) condition, same mileage at 155k, and same price, both at $2500ish. The 1994 Toyota Celica ST Coupe and the 1999 Honda Accord V6 Sedan. Based on your knowledge of these two cars, which one would you pick? I can't decide.
- Is it possible to put a small block Mustang motor in a 94 Honda Accord? I had this idea since I was I'm grade school. I know that it can't be impossible. And I know that it will be costly. But that is what I wasn't to have built.
