1994 Honda Accord Oil leak? - 1
I have had an oil leak for a while now. I can't tell if that is gasket or not. Please watch video and leave your thoughts.
From what I can see you have a serious oil pan gasket leaking. First try tightening all oil pan bolts to 20 lb/ft of torque. If that does not stop the leak then remove the oil pan and replace the gasket.
That's a common problem. I've seen it before and even repaired one but can't remember the name of the part. It may be just a gasket blown out by the oil pressure relief valve. It's to the left of the crankshaft on the passenger side. Try doing a search on youtube for Honda oil leak by drive belt area.
Front oil seal leak. Honda had a recall for 90s Accords for that leak way back.
- Honda Rebel 450 oil leak? Left side of my 86 Rebel 450 seems to be leaving a little spot of oil right next to my kick stand. Bottom of crankcase cover has a little oil on it as well. Before i pull the cover, What is the leak likely coming from?
- Cost of oil leak repairs? I have a 2000 Honda CRV. I found out my car has been leaking oil from the top, left side of the engine. The leaking seems to be minimal and i haven't seen any on the ground underneath the car. I can't take it to a shop until Saturday because they're busy. I was looking for some estimates on how much it might cost to fix or what could be the problem in the first place.
- Oil leak after oil change? - 1 I bought a used 03 honda civic that needed an oil change, when i bought it no oil was leaking or anything, i took it to midas to have the oil changed and a few days after i saw oil running down the engine, its not leaking from the filter or drain plug its leaking down the engine look at the photo where the arrows are pointing is where the oil is sweeping out.
- Oil Change: Honda Motor Oil Vs Generic oil, does it make a difference? I have been getting oil changes with Honda motor oil for 15 years on my 2002 civic that now has 132K miles. If I switch to a generic $10 oil change garage shop will it still be ok? I know the Honda filters are better then the cheapest generic ones but how about the actual motor oil?
