98 Honda Accord stuck in park! How to fix? - 1
Try this: Step on the brake pedal & see IF the brake lights work. There's a safety interlock between the brakes & the transmission shifter to make sure you have the brakes on when you shift out of park. If the brakes lights don't work, then the brake light switch up under the drivers dash is broken. Not expensive or hard to replace.

- How can i fix this Honda Dio? Can i fix it by my own? I wanted to check the front brakes, si i started and raced it holding the front brakes alone. My fingers sliped from the break and I crashed my Dio straight to the wall. Reffer the picture.
- How to fix a stuck hood on a 2002 Honda Civic? My uncle went on a business trip and left his car at my house. I forgot to start the car for a few weeks and now the car is no longer starting. So, I tried to open the hood and jump-start the car. However, when I pulled on the hood opener on the driver's side, the hood seemed to be jammed. I need to find a way to get the hood open. If my uncle comes back and finds out that his car isn't working, i'm screwed. So, what should I do?
- Honda Civic 97 E-brake stuck. How do I fix/disengage it? I have an old honda civic and was looking around in it. The e-brake had almost never been used and so I lifted it to see if it worked. It worked, but when I released it, the brake light went off and when I tried to back up, The rear end rose and would not move. My fear is that something is rusted out and I'll need to replace it. Is there I way I can just disengage it permanently for I don't ever actually use it.
- Why will my 2002 Honda Accord not shift into park? I can literally shift it into the park position, but it's not acting like it is in park. Even when I have it "shifted" to park, I can't start the car. I can only start it in Neutral. When it is in the park position, the park light doesn't come on, and I can easily shift it down to reverse or neutral without having to press and hold the button. What could be wrong?
