Cam my honda accord use 10w-30 full synthetic?
Highly doubtful. You completely FAIL to state the YEAR or ENGINE SIZE/TYPE of your car, so no one out here on the Internet can reliably say. Did you ever think to READ THE FREAKING MANUAL, or the sticker on the underside of the hood, or the oil fill cap? Simply looking it up online would have taken less time than to post your inane question. All newer Hondas use 5W-20, btw.
- Why do people get mad over the fact that their cars require full synthetic oil? I work as a mechanic and found some people do not like the fact 2010 and up toyotas and Hondas and almost all 2014 cars and European cars require full synthetic oil. A majority of the anger comes towards toyotas and Hondas. Despite me explaining the increased intervals, they still get angered at the fact. Is it just me or does less time doing oil changes that save you more money in the long run end up coming out cheaper despite the increased price and why would they be angry saving money?
- How to adjust the cam chain tension of the Honda CD125K? I have done it on a Honda XL125R and S and it seemed to work fine… How do i do it on the CD125K? , simillar method or is there another technique?
- If in the owners manual it says I should use 5W-20 motor oil, can I use 10W-40 motor oil instead? I have a 2009 Honda Fit. I just recently bought 10W-40 and when I got home to put oil in the manual said 5W-20. What's the difference? And is it okay if I still use the 10W-40?
- If I have an oil leak should I continue to use Synthetic oil? I have Honda civic 1997 lx sedan, I have an oil leak on the left side of the engine. By the distributer. My question is, is it worth using synthetic oil even though there's a leak? Or should I just use conventional oil because there's a leak?
