Is non ethanol gas good for my 2000 honda accord?
Is non ethanol gas good for my 2000 honda accord? - 1
I would stay away from E15+, but E10 and ethanol-free should both be fine.
No problem. You could buy non-ethanol gas in 2000, you can today, the car was designed to be able to handle anything commonly available. You are probably subconsciously thinking leaded vs unleaded gas (I'm not even sure if you could find leaded gas in 2000, let alone today, it was phased out for almost all uses pre-1974 due to catalytic converters and air pollution regulations), this is not the same issue. Ethanol just has a slightly different composition, and needs slightly more to make as much power as non-ethanol gas.
- What will waste more gas, Clogged Cat or Non Cat converter? Does a Honda civic waste more gas if the catalytic converter is clogged or a civic without a catalytic converter (pipe only)? Or what?
- Is it safe to drive my honda civic non stop everyday? My job requires me to drive 8hrs a day, then a co worker would take over and drive another 8hrs a day. In total the car would be driven 16 hrs a day all on the highway. Close to 1600kms a day. Is this going to destroy the car? I keep up with maintanace too.
- Is it possible to swap a Vtech Engine into a non-vtech 2000 Honda Accord? I need a new engine and I found a good decent priced 2001 Honda Accord Vtech engine for sale. I was wondering if it would work with my 2000 Honda Accord NON Vtech car?
- How much does it cost to fill up the gas in a 1999 or 2000 Honda accord? Well I'm planning on using my god sisters Honda accord to go to Disney land from the bay area in California and I'm just wondering how much does it cost to fill up this vehicles gas tank?
