First oil change mileage for Honda Civic?
I have a new 2015 Honda Civic with 2000 miles on it and I'm wondering if it's time for the first oil change?
Check your handbook.
Most cars it is the first year or the annual mileage.
Mine was 1 year or 15000 miles.
Every 4 to 5k miles, under normal driving conditions, or annually, which ever comes first. Performing the change any sooner, or more frequent, is simply overkill and unnecessary.

- 2004 Honda Pilot! I did an oil change today check the manual for the engine oil capacity, it is 4.8 liters and put 4.4 liters and add .5 ltr? Total engine oil put is 4.9 liters and I'm surprised the dipstick is above the second hole by 10mm. Is it overfill or do i need to remove some?
