I have a 2003 Honda Civic ex, the a/c works great but i'm unable to change to heat?

Take the knob off and see if it is not broken inside. Those knobs are in stock at the Honda dealer.

I have a Honda GSV 190 mower engine with a broken starter rope and stud stuck in starter that I can't remove. Any ideas would be great When removing the nuts holding the recoil starter in place the nut on the front of the starter is stuck. When I try to remove it the whole stud come out of the engine. Leaving the engine cover stuck to the starter preventing me from replacing the rope. I have tried everything I can think of to remove it with no luck. Why does my 94 honda civic over heat but the oil light comes on there's no leaks any where? My radiator over heats the hoes swells but there's no leaks no smoke coming from anywhere the water in the radiator bubbles up when I take the cap off I even put some stuff in it to help cool it down didn't work. I checked the oil looks fine no werid color to it at all. Its no really over heating the engine is hotter then what its suppose to be
Have a 2010 Honda civic, A/C only works 1 out of 5 times Took to shop twice, holding charge, no leaks not an issue when they check it. Makes quiet clicking noise when on. What can be the issue
