We're to buy lowering springs for a car?
I want to lower my honda civic FG2 but I don't know a good place to buy springs in the Los Angeles area. Where's a good place to buy some on the cheap to (if possible).
You generally purchase springs online. This gets rid of the middle man, like a shop.
You can order from ebay, or you can get name brand springs from eibach and other manufacturers.
Just lowering springs? You should get shocks with the springs, lowering springs will destroy your stock shocks in months or even weeks. Coilovers are better. If you are on a budget I'd get some Raceland coilovers.
I'd go to here

- Why do motorbike brake shoes have springs that snap them shut? . When the brake is released? I've taken them off the rear drum brake of my Honda 250 scooter and the brake is much more powerful as I'm not wasting effort overcoming the inertia of the springs. What a silly invention in the first place!
