Will lowering my car harm its handling?
I have a 2004 Honda civic si that I'm looking to lowering about an inch. How will this affect handling?
You bet. And it will wear your entire suspension system prematurely as well. You can also look forward to decreased acceleration and braking ability. Also a decrease in cornering responsiveness and a drop in fuel economy. It's a pretty ugly trade off just to get the "look" you want.
You'll get accelerated suspension wear, and worse braking. Really bad idea overall. Great way to lower the value of the car too.
One whole inch? How will you tell the difference?
- What is the purpose/pro/cons of stretching and lowering a sportbike? I'm looking at bikes and found a really nice Honda CBR 600 but it is stretch and lowered and I'm wondering what this effects.
- How to drop a 2000 honda lx without a lowering kit? I just want to know because I'm really cheap and don't feel like spending alot of money dropping it I think I can cut the springs if I'm mistaken.

- Does the honda 600rr have its transmission in its engine? I bought a used honda 600 and it has a transmission problem. I went to a repair shop and he said they can't fix it because they have to completely disassemble the engine and that is a mess. Is it true and did he just say that because he doesn't want to do it?
