When can I buy a 2017 Honda CR-V for $10,000?

How long does it take to depreciate to $10k?

10 years

About 2025

10 years. Of course, it'll be a seriously used car by then, with problems, high mileage, and not reliable

3 years time

Six years is about right.

7.5 years

Hondas keep their resale value incredibly well, so I guess in ~7-10 years you'll manage to find one for 10K.

  • Would you purchase a 2004 Honda pilot for $6,000.000 that has 216,000 miles on it? I'm just browsing online looking at cars for sale and a lot of them have 200k or more miles on them and they want $4,000 or more. Why do people sale their cars for such a high price with a lot of miles on them? Its not just Hondas its all types of cars private and dealers as well
  • Should I buy a low mileage 2015ish Sequoia or a 2017 Honda Pilot EX-L? I can get a used sequioa with less than 40k miles (without warranty) for the same price as a new Honda EX-L with 100,000 powertrain warranty). I can't decide between the two… I need something that will sit 3 car seats minimum, 4 is even better. We do plan on having more kids. I know the Sequoia's a lot bigger, but I plan to use it as a commuting vehicle for at least a year and it seems like overkill. Also, it doesn't seem the Sequoia is as safe as the Pilot, I think?
  • 2008 Honda Fit with 66,000 miles on it for $5,000? Is this a good deal? I need to buy a new car and today I got an offer on a 2008 Honda Fit with 66,000 miles on it for $5,000. I'm a 19 year old girl and I know nothing about cars D: Are Honda Fits good cars? Should I buy this with so many miles already on it? Also, I like to travel. Will this car be safe to drive long distances?
  • 2012 Honda Civic needs a oil change at 10,000. But I want to drive more than 10,000 to save money? How many MORE miles can I drive while it's still safe for the engine to do so? The oil is synthetic blend. oil change every 5000 miles is very expensive and I'm a lower class. It would be better if I go over the limit.
