Beginners Motorcycle Comparisons?
I've been looking for a first motorcycle and I have four in mind. There's the Yamaha SR400, the Moto Guzzi V7 II (or Stone), the Triumph Bonneville (the cheapest model), and the Honda CTX700N. I want to get one that is brand new. Any suggestions in which buying the right bike for the money and quality?
I'm partial to the Triumph Bonneville. It runs as fast as a sane person would want to go. It isn't too heavy, nor is it insanely twitchy like your average crotch rocket. It is a solid, dependable, and simple machine.
- You say do I need to keep the Bell helmet the renter wore when he slipped, and crashed my motorcycle? My motorcycle is the 2008? Honda CBR600RR super sport motorcycle. The Cofounder of Riders- Share.Com compensated me the full amount of the motorcycle repairer's written damage estimate. I was also fully compensated for the helmet, which the renter wore when he crashed my motorcycle and my helmet.
- Sport bike maintenance for beginners? I have a 2004 honda cbr 600 f4i and I want to be able to keep it running and not have to worry. What are some things I need to know for keeping the bike well maintained? By that I mean when should I check oil, tire pressure, etc. And when do I need to change the chain and all that kinda stuff. And is there just any general tips I could use?
- Motorcycle no lights/start after wash? I have a 1981 Honda custom 500. Sprayed it at the car wash got it home, no lights and completely dead, won't turn over, charged battery and still nothing. Possibly bad regulator?
- Is a Honda Shadow VLX Deluxe a good beginners bike? Looking at a 2005 Shadow VLX Deluxe 600cc for my first bike. I'm 6' 1'' 190lbs. Just don't want to go too small and have to upgrade to soon, but don't want to die either. Don't need anything with crazy power or speed, just getting around town and some cruising.
