Honda cbr250r smaller sprocket for more top end?
Guys, I want to gain a good top end speed on my honda cbr250r. In that case i'll have to install a smaller rear sprocket. But what I want to know is, a sprocket with how many Teeth is recommended for optimum performace at the top end? Please pour in your suggestions.
The manufacturer has already fitted the best combination of sprocket size to suit the bike. All you will achieve is less acceleration. The top speed may not alter as the engine may not be able to reach full torque at a lower rpm.
- Smaller wheels on a big dirt bike? Is it possible to put smaller wheels on a Honda crf125f as it is to big for me but the crf110f is to small.
- Smaller sprocket on a dirt bike? I have a Honda crf100f and it goes fairly fast but i want it to go faster. People have been telling me to put a smaller sprocket on the back. And i would like my bike to be like the 2 strokes and 450s where if you give them enough gas they wheelie on their own. Will switching to a smaller back sprocket allow my bike to wheelie on its own?
- Dirt bike sprocket replacemnt? I have a Honda 1979 xr 200 and it needs a new sprocket on the Kickstarter. Just wondering does it have to be a sprocket for a 1979 xr 200? Or just a Honda 200 2 stroke.
- Does a top mount intercooler have to be on top? I've got a 13b Turbo II Intercooler from an rx7 and I was wondering if it could be side mounted on a honda. I figure I'd just have to custom fit it somewhere but, I wanted some input if it would work like that. It should considering it's just a basically a cooler.
