Why is gas leaking from a little black piece under the seat on my dirtbike?
I have a Honda crf150 and I just got it back from the shop because of a flat tire and when I got it out of the truck I noticed it was leaking gas all over the back wheel and chain out of a little piece under the seat (I forgot what its called), the gas was turned on and when the gas is off it stops but as soon as it's turned back on it starts leaking again. Does anyone know what it's called? And if it's something I can fix or do I have to take it back to the shop? And is it something they did and should have to pay for?
Sounds like a filter at the exit from the fuel tank. It might have been knocked free while they were changing the tire, or it may simply have worked free through vibration and age. It may be as simple as tightening a connection, or you may need to purchase a part and replace it. I would use the shop that replaced the tire and see if they do it for free or not.
Sounds to me like it is the float bowl overflow. The float in the carburetor is not seating. That should have nothing to do with a flat tire.
- Why is my brand new Troy Bilt TB130 with a Honda engine leaking oil? I assembled the mower, added the oil as specified, checked the level, started it up, and mowed the yard. It worked well, however as I was nearing completion I noticed oil on the mower deck, on top of the filter (it was dry), the linkage, and everywhere. Why did it do this, can it be fixed, or should I return it. How do I keep it from happening a second time?

- What damage is possible from a construction cone riding under the front portion under the car? I was traveling doing about 55 mph and could not swerve to avoid hitting a construction cone. It hit under my car and dragged until I could pull over and pry it loose. I could not see too well under the car. I have a Honda Fit
