1964 Honda c100 starting problems after re-build (re post with better info)?

Do you want ALL the GUESSES in the world without providing any DETAILS?

Last time I rebuilt my bike I got two (2) wires reversed and for some reason my bike wouldn't run. I had to, like, check my work against the wiring diagram and pictures in the shop manual. Once I fixed MY MISTAKE the bike ran. So amazing.

Could be a bunch of ****. You need compression, intake and exhaust valves timed correctly, gas/air mixture at the correct ratio and spark. All need to be within the manufactures specifications. So start looking.

  • Starting problems Honda c100? I have recently restored a Honda c100 and now can't start it. The best I can get is a slow tick over for about 20seconds if I have the choke and throttle fully open. This to me says to much fuel. I have changed the fuel hoses and the new ones had a slightly bigger bore diameter. These go from the tank to the tap on the carb. Would this be causing my problems or does the tap restrict the flow anyway.
  • I need info on a 72 Honda cb350? Just got this bike would like to get info on it is it a k4? A ss a 350 4 it's my first bike frame vin is cb350-309**** thanks justin
