1991 Honda Accord Leaking Transmission Fluid?
My 91 Honda Accord with 214xxx miles has been leaking transmission fluid not too bad but the other week i notice after a day at work the puddle is as wide as a basketball the bottom of the transmission where the case and tranny meet along seam has a stream around it is this the case leaking or somthing also i still have fluid on the dipstick not low full it dosent make sense but its leaking i need the most possible explanation and areas to check and or replace thanks
Hard to say where it is. Just fill it up and drive it over a ditch or some place that allows you to be under it and then whip it off with a rag really good and start it and let it run with no a hole in the drivers seat and get under it and see where its leaking
You have 214,000 miles on this car so a transmission fluid/filter change is in order. Have the fluid and filter changed and a new pan gasket installed. This should stop the leak.
- When should a 2012 Honda Civic need its transmission fluid changed, or serviced? The vehicle has 83,000 miles? Lots of highway driving for a three year old car. Drives perfectly, no problems, just trying to look ahead.
- Power steering fluid leaking from the base of the steering column? I have a 2002 Honda Civic and I noticed that there's power steering fluid leaking at the base of the steering column. I can't find anything about it online and don't want to take it to a mechanic if its something that I can figure out. Could this be the rack and pinion? Or is it just something simple? Anybody dealt with this issue before?

- 2012 Honda Civic transmission fluid change? I would like to change transmission fluid in my 2012 Honda Civic. What is the best way to do it? Do I need to flush it (wash out) or it is OK just to drain old one and put new one. Thanks for advise. Automatic transmission.
