2000 Accord is dying is it timing belt?

I have a 2000 honda accord v6. Today when i got home from work the car started to die out the rpm kepp going up and down until the car die. Turned back on and it die right away. I started back up the hit the gas few times then the car worked fine is my timing off?

No if your timing belt has jumped time the car will not only not run well but there's a chance serious engine damage could occur. Do you have a check engine light on? Start with that if so.

Very unlikely. Timing belts usually work or break. Unusual to jump and that usually precedes serious problems. This is more like fuelling or electrical troubles.
