2004 honda accord 4 cyl. Sometimes when it sits overnight won't start. But if you try then wait will start?
2004 accord 4 cyl. It sounds like a dead battery but if you wait a few mins. Starts right up no problem I have turned lights inside off checked trunk lid
And battery and alternator both test good no draw. Any ideas thank you
Clean the battery cables, ( contact surface ) and snugly tighten
Sounds like the ignition switch is going bad, a bad battery connection, or a bad starter.
What does a dead battery sound like?
- My car won't start but when I try to start it, it sounds like a power drill? I have a 95 Honda Civic and it does not start it keeps making a noise that sounds like a power drill spinning. I have no idea what it is or could be any more. I've pulled the starter and put in a new one and the starter is still not catching the fly wheel. I have even resorted to charging the battery, checking all fluids (transmission, antifreeze, etc.) and putting in 5 gallons of gas but still nothing, can't pay to get it to a shop. Anything helps thanks.
- My 2000 Honda Civic EX shuts off when driving it, sometimes it'll start back up but sometimes it won't I got my tail pipe and muffler replaced. I also got the catalytic converter and MAP sensor replaced in my car as well. My dad believes it could be the fuel filter, but we have no clue what it really is.
- 1991 Honda Civic si 1.6 L manual transmission. Cars stalls while running and won't start back up, I have to wait for two hrs to start again? I recently replaced these prior to problem "starter, fuel pump, battery, distributor, cables, fuel filter, also replaced ignition switch and still have the same issue please somebody help I will appreciate thanks
- I have a 1996 Honda Accord EX Wagon. It will start (Sometimes) but will not stay running? I have had the fuel pump checked. Spark Plugs and wires replaced. I have had a few people look at it and they are all stumped.
