Calculating the necessary area for car parking?
I'm trying to figure out how many cars can park on 4300 sq. Feet (400 sq.meters) parking. Regular size cars such as Toyota Corolla, Honda Accord or regular SUVs. Any ideas or online calculator for the purpose?
I believe an average car park has spaces that are 9 feet wide by 16 feet long. Don't forget to leave extra space between rows for vehicles to maneuver in and out of the designated parking spaces.
It would depend on whether it's a storage-type lot where one car is pulled up right in back of another car, and close to the adjoining car. It might also be a lot with lots of in and out traffic that require driving strips between the rows, either one or both direction traffic. Gets more complicated when you have to figure in and out to the street requirements of the municipality or county.
- What to do when you leave a note when you hit a car in the parking lot? So my sister was learning to drive in my car she doesn't have a license and I don't have insurance. She hit the side of a parked Honda where I live. I left a note with my name, number, time, and that she was learning how to drive, I don't have insurance and that I would pay for the damages. They contacted me two days later saying hi, you left a note on my car about hiring my car. How should I respond?
- What does P mean on a parking ticket where your vehicle type is written? As in: Vehicle GRY HOND P? I received a parking ticket and really can't afford to pay it! My friend told me I should look for typos on the ticket in order to contest it. On the ticket where the vehicle type is listed, the line reads: "Vehicle GRY HOND P". I do own a grey honda, but I was not sure what the P stood for? I tried to google but couldn't find anything - please help!

- I bumped a car while parallel parking? I bumped a car while parallel parking. It was a tight spot so i though i had enough space but i really didn't. The car was not damaged because it was a very light tough. My question is how can i know if a car will fit into the space? I drive a honda civic so i'm wondering how big the space has to be to get in? I have no problem parallel parking but sometimes the parallel parking space confuses me.
