Can't get car get out of park and brake is making a lot of air noise?

1999 Honda Accord EX 2 Door Coupe
Just recently I have had a problem with my car where it will not come out of being locked in park. When I press on the break, it sounds like someone is letting air out of an air mattress. After fooling with it a couple minutes, it will let me move it into drive and work just fine. What is wrong with it? I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it, but it had been very hot lately.

The brake booster has leak and in need of a replacement. It's right behind the brake master cylinder, this is what it look like:

Now, the hard to shift out of park position is the shift interlock system need to be test, the most common cause is the brake light switch has failed. Do the brake lights come on when you step on the brake pedal? If not, the fuse for the brake light has blown or the brake light switch has failed.

If the brake lights came on when the pedal is depress, then the shift interlock solenoid locates under the shifter handle at the center console need to be test out and replace if defected.

E mail if you need more help. There are videos at youtube.com will show you how to check or replace the defect components. This is one of the sites that I've used from time to time to help other members:
