Car will not start but battery was just replaced?

Having some trouble getting the car to start so I replaced the battery, bought from auto parts store. Came in, installed the battery, it turned on fine, then went out a little bit latter to turn it on and it wouldn't start. Nothing came on or happened. What should I do? No time or money for a mechanic.

It's a 2002 Honda Accord with 200,000 miles +

You more than likely have a parasitic drain on the battery. Any light that is on or any relay that is stuck will run the battery down. Check all the lights including the brake lights. Put your windows down and see if they go right back up due to a stuck relay.

Possible the battery was just not charged enough on the drive home. Jump it, then go for an hour long drive in the country…

Battery cables clean and snugly fastened?
