Engine Block 1993 Honda Accord EX?
I'm currently thinking of buying a 93 honda accord ex and there's one big problem with it. The engine block is cracked i'm just gonna use the car to go to work & back home & run some errands but how long do you think id be able to drive it for? I won't be able to have the money to fix it in 3 1/2 months… Is it worth purchasing this car or should I continue shopping for a different one
Keep looking - no way to drive the vehicle with the block cracked
- What does a engine knock coming from bottom of a 1993 del sol mean? I'm thinking of getting a 93 Honda del sol but need to know what a knock at the lower part of the engine could mean
- Where on the engine block would I put a thermometer for a quadbike? I have a Honda 350D and the fan thermostat has broken, rather than spending money replacing the unit I'm looking to wire the fan into a switch. I have also purchased a digital thermometer which I plan to wire in, but I need to place the receiver on the engine block, but which part do I connect it to, top end, or radiator and if so top of the radiator or bottom? (oil cooled).
- Cracked top of Honda engine block. Looks repaired but how long will this last? Bought a used car 1 year ago. It runs fine and no problems. Took the car it for an oil change and mechanic noticed a leak. He took off the oil pan and found this. Oh the joys of buying a used car… Looks repaired but how long will this last? Honda quoted me $6000 to repair it… Can I keep running the car like this? Thanks Dan! This is a photo taken from the top. Timing chain to the right
- I have a 2004 Honda CRV, I tried to check the Engine Block Heater Cord but I can't see any wiring? Anyone who could help me locate the cord may be it is wrap or tie with the other wire? Where are the location the heater can be install for me start looking at the wiring in there?
