I have a 2005 honda accord Lx but it shakes/vibrates when I'm stopped and I'm on drive or reverse?
I've took it to some mechanics and they couldn't point out the problem. It has no Check Engine Light on, i was recommended to get a Diagnostic in the Honda dealer. Would the diagnostic find out the problem i thought they only work when your car has the Check Engine Light?
U thought wrong.did they actually LOOK at anything? Like open the hood? Check motor mounts? They don't have a light
- Steering Wheel Shakes Stops Shakes At High Speed? I Have a 2004 Honda CRV i bought brand new tires for and they drove perfectly fine and smooth later that night i got a puncture and a flat tire which i fixed with a plug kit with no leaks the next day when i sped up to 65 miles an hour the steering wheel will shake a little for half a second then stop for a second then shake again over and over the faster i go over 65 the shake stop gets faster and under 65 it drives smooth as glass Is this a major concern?
- What is causing my 2002 honda civic ex (Automatic) to barely move in drive and reverse? My daughter uses this car and was working great one day and then the trans just about quit working. Had to tow it. When in neutral I can hear a high pitch whining sound from trans. Is there any way to fix this. The engine light is also on.

- Tried to test drive a 2005 honda civic, wouldn't reverse, what's the problem? I went to test drive a 2005 Honda Civic EX coupe and when i put the stick to R, it wouldn't move. It turns out something on transmission needs to be fixed and it will cost 800-1000 dollars. The total cost would be 6000. Is it a good idea to buy? Has a clean title but needs repair, dealer isn't willing to fix it unless i put down money. has 133,000 miles on it
