My 1999 Honda Accord car just died on me. Radio was still playing but car wouldn't move?
Prior to car dying on me, the key signal was blinking, but key wasn't loose or out of ignition.
Stopped at a red light, then as light turned green and I tried to accelerate, NOTHING happened. Didn't move forward.
I calmly turned emergency signal on so car behind can pass me, put car in park and turned ignition twice before it started and proceeded driving.
No check engine light, no other light came on dash. What happened?
You have a bad ignition switch, a very common problem on that era of Accords.
The car ran out of gasoline.
- I let my car sit for 3 months and the battery died. I tried to jump it but it would start? I Tried jumping my car by connecting the jumper cable plugs to it for like 1 min and few seconds… Should I keep the jumper cables in longer or do I just need to buy a new battery. - Why did my 2003 Honda Pilot engine just died while i was driving around 30-40 miles per hour? It virbrates every now and then when i hit 35-40 miles really bad of the whole car and I also have a check engine light and vtm-4 light on. I was able to turn off to a side street put in park and shut off and then started the car back up and it was fine again. Any ideas?

- My car won't move in any gear under its own power but rolls in park while making a grinding noise I drive a 08 Honda Civic LX automatic. Yesterday I tried to take off from a stop and heard a loud metal snapping sound followed by loud grinding. Then it wouldn t move under its own power in any gear even reverse. It starts just fine, even idles as if nothing s wrong, will rev too. I have to have the emergency brake on because it rolls in park. In park it also makes grinding noises.
