Thinking of buying new car?
Either I'm gonna buy Honda or a Toyota, because according to my mechanic those cars are built to last and easy to find parts of you need repair.
I need an expert opinion, Honda or Toyota which one is better, fuel economy wise and price wise?
Any mechanics or people with experience driving those two cars please help!
I'm gonna by a new one, which is better to drive and what not, please be detailed with your answer
Added (1). Also I've heard Hondas and toyotas get stolen? Or is it only the older ones that get stolen?
I'm going to have to disagree with your mechanic. Both Honda and Toyota are for the most part living on their past reputations. These days they are no better than Mazda, Hyundai, Subaru, or even Nissan - all of who are less overpriced. Your mechanic may be servicing a lot of 15 year or older models. Honda is like that kid in gym class who gets complacent while Hyundai is that fat kid who tries real hard. Reliability trumps fuel economy, if the difference is not that big.
Stats and reliability are very similar. Test drive both and choose the one you like best.

- Thinking of buying a 2019 honda civic coupe but i'm worried how reliable the cvt transmission is? I want to buy a basic honda civic coupe. I want the 2 door because i think it looks cute. But i'm worried how relaible is that cvt transmssion? I want to last atleast 150k miles?
- I'm thinking of buying a 2004 Honda Civic with 90k miles for $6000. How are the repairs on this civic? I know the engine can last over 200000 miles or more but what about other repairs. I'm looking for a car that I can rely on and not spend too much time in the shop. My other option is a 2010 Hyundai Elentera with 43000 miles for $9000. I know the civic has a better resale value, but I'm looking for a car that I can keep the longest with the least repairs. I generally keep a car until I can't use it any longer or it gets to expensive to own.
