Cheaps turbo kit for a d16y8 Honda engine? That's ac and PS compatible?
Iv found all the parts I need but I was wondering if a kit was cheaper. Cheers
Avoid the cheap kits. They are cheap for a reason. They use subpar quality parts, made cheaply using cheap alloys, poor knock offs that are preproduction parts from a quality part from an established company. The knock off parts are poor clones and they have no R&D or anything.
I highly, very very strongly urge you not to get a cheap kit. If you are determined, buy a cheap kit then trash the turbo, turbo manifold and couplers then buy quality ones from a name brand company.

- Would this turbo kit blow my engine? I found a turbo kit online and thought it would be fine until someone told me that it would blow my engine. I have a 1995 honda del sol VTEC stock performance wise. Would this kit blow my engine? If so what else would I need? - What engines can I directly swap my D16y8 Honda motor for? It has to be more powerful and easy to swap? I have a civic with a d16y8 and its served me well but what motor could I easily swap in? I want to use the same gearbox but I don't mind swaping the ECU. The easier the swap and the more HP the better. Would prefer to use the stock manifold and intake etc.
