2010 honda civic vs 2010 vw beetle?
I'm looking to buy a car in the next year, it will be my first car. And I want to know which one would be reliable, last longer, and good with mileage. I know the beetle is cute and everything but is it safe or dangerous to drive?
I would choose the Honda over the VW simply because the Honda has built their reputation on reliability over the years. That's not to say that VW doesn't make good cars, they do but the Honda will be a less expensive car to own over the years. It's cheaper to drive (better fuel economy), it's cheaper to repair (lower repair bills) and it's cheaper to insure (European vs Japanese).
- Is a vw beetle a good first car? I'm 16 and I'm in the market for my first car. I've saved up for years and I have $3,200 to work with. I have always wanted a bug since I was little but heard they can be problematic. My parents want me to go with something like a Honda or Toyota but I can't get my mind off of a bug! I found a 2000 model, 1.8 turbocharged 4cyl with 123,000 miles on it for 2,400. I was wondering if they are a reliable first car.
- Would you buy a used 2010 Honda Civic sedan with 107k miles on it? It appears to be in great condition… Clean CarFax, only one owner (he leased it and then he bought it afterwards). Has 107,000 miles on it, and he's asking $8500. Is it worth it? He said that they were all highway miles driving to and from work mainly
- What a better 1st car to buy: A Honda Civic or a VW Beetle? They both would be used with about 100K miles each. I'm paying for it so can't afford to pay much or make a lot of repairs. I have researched, but I can't pick between the tow.
- My 2010 Honda Civic EX Does not respond to my remote key? It was Working fine about 9 hours ago. Now i go to open the car with the remote and nothing happens. The only light that turns on is the alarm light in orange nothing else. It won't start the car either. Only way to get in the car is using the key. Can't open passenger door or turn on anything
