Can a bad / clogged PCV valve cause hesitation?

Can a clogged or faulty PCV valve cause hesitation? Or would it only cause something like a rough idle?

  • Replacing PCV valve in a 2012 Civic? When replacing the PCV valve in a 2012 Honda Civic, is there any potential for oil to leak out while replacing it? Not sure if I can just unscrew the PCV and replace it, or if I need to do some sort of prep beforehand to prevent oil from escaping? Pic here: (PCV valve is "1").
  • Can a bad map sensor cause my car to not run? I have a 1990 honda civic with a b18a1 swap. My car idles fine when it wants to start but whenever I press the gas it sputters and putts it doesn't put out enough power to move the car. I have recently changed the fiac and fitv so that's hopefully not the problem. I smogged my car and I failed in the CO ratings so I'm running really rich with the occasional backfire. I'm just wondering if I have a bad map sensor.
  • 94 honda civic transmission filter clogged? Everyone know that this the 94 civic transmission filter is on the inside of the transmission. The only way to change it is to drop the transmission. So instead of doing all that. Is it an alternative to cleaning my filter instead of taking the whole transmission off? Please tell me its something on the market or something lol
